Ray Cowgill received recognition in the 2018 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards for the following works:

                                                                                    Pencil drawing titled Dee was awarded a Gold Key in Drawing and Illustration Acrylic painting titled Sid was awarded a Gold Key in Painting

Both works will be displayed until February 23 at the Springfield Art Association Building in Springfield, IL.
His two Gold Key award works will be judged at the National Level with results later in the Spring.
