Gold Keys were awarded to the most accomplished works. Gold Key art will be forwarded to the national-level of the Scholastic Art Awards in March where they will be judged with work from throughout the United States.
Silver Keys were awarded to disginguished works.
American Visions Nominations were awarded to outstanding Gold Key art. This award honors the Best in Show in any category and age group.

Ray Cowgill, Junior, has been awarded a Gold Key and an American Visions Nominee for his painting titled Delaney.

Ray was also awarded a Silver Key for is painting Before Dusk.

Alyssa Speagle, Senior, has been awarded a Gold Key for her painting titled Minette.

Another painting by Ray Cowgill, titled Cursed Image, was chosen by Millikin University Art Department to be included in the Millikin University High School Art Show 2016 this past November. Only 40 works were chosen from over 400 submitted.
