American Legion Auxiliary Illini Girls State and Illinois Boys State are week-long programs dedicated to providing training for soon to be high school Seniors in city, county, and state government.
American Legion Auxiliary Illini Girls State will be held June 16-22, 2024 at Eastern Illinois University. Additional information can be found on their website https://www.alaigs.org. Delegates must be able to attend the full week and be able to provide transportation to and from the session.
Illinois Boys State will take place from June 8th-14th, 2024 at Eastern Illinois University. Additional information can be found on their website https://illinoisboysstate.org/. Delegates must be able to attend the full week and be able to provide transportation to and from the session.
Delegates to ALA Illini Girls State and Illinois Boys State have the opportunity to apply for the Samsung Scholarship if they attend the full session. The scholarship application is to be completed prior to arrival at session. The scholarship application is online and details are sent in the registration packet.
