Personal Background
Ramsey is from Southern Illinois. She worked in politics, public relations, and media relations for 16 years before suffering a crisis of conscience. As a result, Ramsey became a teacher and storyteller. She has lived and worked in Illinois, Missouri, Washington DC, North Carolina, and Colorado. Ramsey loves her books, her dogs, and her family. She also keeps a pet unicorn at her home, but not everyone believes that.
