Hello and welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! My name is Meg Sullivan, and I am the new part-time speech-language pathologist at Maroa-Forsyth Grade School. I am so excited to be joining the Trojan team this year! I will be working exclusively with the preschool program staff and students here in Forsyth to help our students further develop their communication skills.
A little bit about me…
I am originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia and moved around the country quite a bit before graduating from Auburn High School in Auburn, Alabama (War Eagle!). I relocated to Illinois to attend Eastern Illinois University for both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication Disorders and Sciences. Before becoming a Trojan, I began my career in the medical setting at Carle Foundation Hospital where I provided outpatient therapy to patients who had been hospitalized for stokes or traumatic brain injuries. Last year, I transitioned from the hospital setting to the schools to be closer to my family in the area. My husband, Patrick, and I live in Maroa with our two fur babies, Georgia the beagle and Shadow the tabby cat. This year, I will be scheduled on campus Tuesdays and Thursdays, but you can always reach me at email@example.com . I am looking forward to a great year!
