Meet Mallory

Coach Mallory White, a 2007 Maroa-Forsyth alum, is entering her first year as head volleyball coach. She served as a volunteer assistant coach in 2016 and the freshman coach in 2017.

During her MFHS volleyball career, White started all four years and set the school record for career kills (1,385) and most blocks in a season (98). She was a two time Macon County Player of the year, three time first-team all-conference selection, a second-team all-conference selection, and an honorable mention all-state selection.

White went on to play for Division I Illinois State University on a full-ride scholarship. While at ISU, she started in all 126 matches, ending her career ranked third in digs (1,422) and sixth in kills (1,526) in Illinois State history. Throughout her career she was named to the all-tournament team at the Corvallis Invitational, IU adidas Classic, Rams Volleyball Classic, Miami Invitational, the Redbird Classic, Holiday Inn West Bronco Invitational, Panther Invitational, and the State Farm Illini Classic. She was also awarded the All-Missouri Valley Conference First-Team and Second-Team selection.

Personal Background

Born and raised in Maroa by parents, Verneil and Lori Leggett. Family includes husband, Cody, daughter, Blakely, and son, Brooks.

In leadership, there are no words more important than trust. In any organization, trust must be developed among every member of the team if success is going to be achieved.
