Meet Joy
I am Joy Hurst the 6th and 7th grade English Teacher. I have been part of the Maroa-Forsyth community for the last eleven years. I have three children that attend school in the district. I grew up just down the street and attended Warrensburg-Latham, Our Lady of Lourdes, and St. Teresa. I graduated from Millikin University where I majored in Education. After my son was born, I took some time off of teaching to be a homemaker.
When I am away from school, I find myself spending time with my family and working my second job as a trainer for the YDSC swim team.
