Meet Audrey
Hello, my name is Audrey (Kupferschmid) Whitacre! This is my first year in first grade and at MFGS; however, this if my 5th year teaching! I taught 3rd grade for one year and Kindergarten for three years at Our Lady of Lourdes. I am a 2014 graduate of MFHS and married my high school sweetheart, David Whitacre. We have two dogs, an English Mastiff named Harley and a Husky mix named Brady!
I graduated from Richland Community College with an Associates of Arts Degree, then transferred to Eastern Illinois University where I earned a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with an enhancement in Early Childhood Education. I completed my student teaching at McGaughey Elementary in Mt. Zion in 1st grade and Kindergarten.
I'm excited to be a part of Trojan Nation again and to get to know all the new families in the community! Go Trojans!
