Project Summary
The project consists of an 80,000+ square foot addition to the current High School that will house the Middle School. This addition will include:
- nine general classrooms
- two science labs
- STEM lab collaboration and interventionist spaces
- 530-seat auditorium
- Middle School gym
- large multi-purpose room to also serve as a storm shelter
- MS and HS art rooms
- administrative spaces
Renovations to the High School will include:
- new band and choir spaces
- new fitness space
- additional science lab
- renovated library
- STEM lab
- upgraded mechanical systems
Other project features will include:
- demolition of the current Intermediate and Middle School buildings
- renovations of the current Middle School shop area to serve as a bus barn
- addition of a storage building at the east end of the football field
- new parking lots, bus loop, and parent drop-off will be added to serve the Middle School
Project Schedule
Construction of the Middle School addition will start in June '21 and will be completed for Spring '23 occupancy. Most site work will be completed by August '22. Demolition of the existing Intermediate School will occur during summer of '21, with demolition of the Middle School during summer of '23. Most High School renovations will occur during the summer of '23. All work is planned to be complete prior to the fall semester of 2023.
