2018 IHSA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK INFORMATION
Assemblies:
Grade School: Tuesday 11/20 1:25 pm
The Trojan football team, cheerleaders, drum line, and Trojanettes will be at the grade school to see all of the little Trojans. Players will be escorted in with a Little Trojan and we will blow the roof off the grade school. Unfortunately, due to space limitations this assembly is not open to the public.
High School: Tuesday 11/20 2:25 pm
After rocking the grade school, we will start our 2018 State Championship Assembly at MFHS. MFMS students will join the HS to get fired up. We have plenty of room at the high school for ALL of Trojan Nation to come cheer on the Trojans. So take a half day off work and come help us celebrate :) This is a special group of student-athletes so let's let them know we are 100% behind them.
Breakfast with the Trojans: Thursday 11/22 7:15 am
Wake up early on Thanksgiving day and have a light breakfast with the Trojans. Then stick around and watch them practice for the last time in 2018. Only 16 teams are still practicing and our Trojans are one of them so make sure not to miss it.
Post Game Assembly: Friday 11/23 5:45 pm
After leaving Tent City (see below) be sure to join us at MFHS to welcome the team back in style. We will have a welcome home celebration where we announce each member of the team and coaching staff. You can get pictures with your favorite Trojan and the state trophy.

Game Day Location and Time: Friday November 23, 2018- Memorial Stadium- 1:00 pm (1:08 Television Time) vs. Gibson City Melvin-Sibley
Ticket Sales:
Monday (11/19) Tuesday (11/20) at the high school
Players, Players Families, and MFSD faculty and staff ONLY- 8:00 am-10:00 am
General Public- 10:00 am-3:30 pm
Tickets can be purchased at Memorial Stadium on gameday. There is NO concern for a sellout crowd.
$10 per ticket if bought at MFHS or Memorial Stadium
Fan Seating:
All seating at Memorial Stadium is general admission.
Bags and backpacks larger than 8 1/2 X 11 inches are not allowed inside the stadium.
MFHS cheering section is on the west side of Memorial Stadium.
Bus Caravan:
The team, band, Trojanette, and fan buses will leave the high school at approximately 10:45 am Friday morning with an escort out of town by the Maroa Fire Department. Community members are encouraged to follow the team. Once the team gets to Champaign the police will escort them into town. The City of Champaign Police asks that only the team be escorted.

Halftime Performances:
The Trojanettes and Marching Trojans will perform at halftime. Per IHSA rules, we have a total of 6 minutes of performance time so make sure to stay in your seat to watch an awesome performance!!!
Cheerleaders:
The cheerleaders will be there loud and proud along with Chuck!! Make sure to follow their lead and make all of Illinois hear Trojan Nation!! *\ /*
Tent City:
All Trojan fans are welcome to come to our tent at Tent City before and after the game! We will open up at 11:30, then go inside for the game, and then come back after. The boys will stop by after, and they would love to see all of Trojan Nation.
We take a lot of pride in this and have won the award for best tent multiple years!! Let's make sure this year is no different. We will provide all the food and drinks, all you need to do is show up and support the Trojans! Donations will be accepted. Check the Maroa Forsyth Football Boosters Facebook page for updates on Tent City.
Maroa-Forsyth Football Booster Party: Friday 11/23 6:45 pm until ???
The Maroa-Forsyth Football Boosters will then host a community party to cap off the 2018 season. You must purchase a ticket to attend this event at Crawford's Pizza in Maroa. The cost of the ticket is $10 and there will be only 200 tickets sold. Tickets will be sold in the high school office on Monday (11/19) and Tuesday (11/20) from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. If you can't make it to purchase at these times please contact Rachel Lawson at 217-201-2799.
