Trojans advance in IHSA playoffs.
The Trojans jumped out to a quick 21-0 lead and then cruised past Jacksonville Routt 55-13 in the opening round of the IHSA State Playoffs. The Trojans were led once again by Ian Benner and Gavin Clifton. The duo combined for 191 yards on the ground behind fantastic blocking by the line. The linemen, Lane Ohlemeyer, Tre Corley, Tanner Hetz, Anthony Campbell, and Tucker Klein, also helped the Trojans gain 229 yards through the air.
The Trojans will now travel to Chester to take on the Yellow Jackets in the second round of the playoffs this Saturday, 11/3, at 1:00 pm.
