Trojans battle through the mud to advance to the IHSA State Finals!
Playing under adverse conditions, the Trojans fought for four quarters to defeat Decatur St. Teresa 16-14 in the IHSA 2A State Semifinals. Defense led the way with Tanner Hetz leading the Trojans. Hetz recorded 10 tackles, Kolby Wilber 8, and Noah Holthaus 7 to top the Trojans. The Trojans will now face Gibson City Melvin-Sibley in a rematch of the 2017 State Championship game on Friday November 23rd at Memorial Stadium on the campus of the University of Illinois. Game time is set for 1:00
