“Go Fund Me”?

The Maroa-Forsyth School District Foundation has created a “Go Fund Me” account because the Foundation Board agreed to raise funds to supply chrome books for the High School.

The correct title should be “Go Fund Student’s Education”!

Would you help by answering these questions?

  1. Do you currently have students in the Maroa-Forsyth School District?
  2. Will you have students enrolled in the Maroa-Forsyth School District in the future?
  3. Do you have children that benefitted from a Maroa-Forsyth education?
  4. Are you an Alum of Maroa-Forsyth who benefitted from your Maroa-Forsyth education?

If you answer yes to any of the above questions you or your children have benefitted from the investments that the Maroa-Forsyth School District Foundation has made since its 1997 inception.

The Maroa-Forsyth School District Foundation has created a “Go Fund Me” account because the Foundation Board agreed to raise funds to supply chrome books for the High School.

Many school districts we compete with have implemented Chrome Books into their curriculum and Chrome Books are important to many families deciding on whether or not they move into the Maroa-Forsyth district.

From where I sit there are a couple of obvious benefits:

  1. Chrome Books will save the district significant amount of money from replacing aging books
  2. Students will be learning from THE most up to date education material

Our district has been blessed with a very talented faculty and it is time to give our HS faculty additional tools to enhance their abilities to educate our district’s children and prepare them for life after Maroa-Forsyth.

Like many school districts, Maroa-Forsyth does not have available resources to fund this endeavor therefore the district and students need your help!

On a personal note, our three daughters graduated in 2000 and 2005 and I can answer yes to one of the questions above. That said, my wife Donna and I have kicked off this campaign with a $1,000 donation.

YOUR DONATION WILL ENHANCE CURRENT AND FUTURE MF SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS!

Our minimum goal is $50,000 which is aggressive and attainable. Any SIZE donation and EVERY donation is appreciated!

500 donations of $100 each = CHROME BOOKS = ENHANCED EDUCATION = DEFINITELY ATTAINABLE!!!!!

If available, please utilize employer match.
